The Business Case for Disability-Driven Innovation
Through Case Studies in Disability Driven Innovation - Robert Ludke’s just published book - learn how disability-driven innovation is transforming the economy while creating value for society. The fireside chat will discuss how we can maximize the benefits of disability-driven innovation.
Disability-driven innovation is a proven solution to pervasive unemployment and underemployment of persons with disabilities across the global economy.
Companies and organizations of all sizes across the global economy have seized upon disability-driven innovation to grow market share, bring new products to market, drive increased shareholder value, and attract talented employees. A case in point is Salesforce, a global software company. In early 2020, Salesforce launched its Workforce Navigators initiative to support job candidates with disabilities interested in careers within the Salesforce product ecosystem. Another example is the work of 2Gether-International, which works with entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world to provide early-stage financial and social capital to scale their businesses into transformative ventures.
