This fireside chat sheds light on the journey of developing a Digital Accessibility Handbook to guide the creation of accessible digital solutions promoting access to employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. Emphasizing the importance of human-centric design and the potential further utilization of this resource in promoting entrepreneurship, self-employment and accessible public services will be at the core of this chat. This bilingual tool addressing web developers, programmers, designers and digitalization experts is among the products and measures implemented within the framework of Project Equal Opportunities and Social Development (EOSD), implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in Egypt on behalf of the German Government and in partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity (MoSS) to promote inclusive digital access to employment opportunities and information.
