Boosting Digital and Assistive Technology Skills for Inclusive Employment

The European Commission has launched its Pact for Skills Initiative as part of the European Skills Agenda. It brings together stakeholders engaged in upskilling and reskilling of the workforce at sector level. One of the Alliances that work under the Pact for Skills is the B-Wise Alliance of stakeholders in inclusive employment. It provides a platform for collaborative learning and knowledge exchange, particularly in addressing digital skills needs within Work Integration Social Enterprises (WISEs).

In this fireside chat, promoted by the Association for the Advancement of Assistive technology in Europe (AAATE), we will talk with three representatives of organisations that have joined the Alliance together with AAATE and ask them to reflect on the training needs of workers with support needs and staff providing that support at various levels. The discussion will focus on digital skills and competences in accessibility and assistive technology.
