Global Disability Innovation Hub
About
Global Disability Innovation Hub (GDI Hub) is an Academic Research and Practice Centre accelerating disability innovation for a more just world. Based at UCL (University College London) we are operational in 60 countries, with more than 70 partners. Since launching in 2016 we've reached more than 34 million people and are the World Health Organisations (WHO) first Global Collaborating Center on Assistive Technology.
GDI Hub was launched in 2016 as a legacy of the London 2012 Paralympic Games and is based on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, on University College London.
We accelerate new solutions through innovative partnerships and multi-disciplinary thinking. The GDI Hub Disability Innovation Strategy 2025-2030 outlines our ambitions for the next five years. This strategy builds on our recent growth and accomplishments, setting the stage for the exciting work ahead.
