For 17 years, ReelAbilities has harnessed the power of film to drive social and cultural change.

In this Fireside Chat: Lights, Camera, Action!, ReelAbilities' Ravit Turjeman will sit down with international disability rights advocate and entrepreneur Cara Elizabeth Yar Khan to discuss the objectives, challenges, and impact of the documentary Facing the Falls. The film follows Yar Khan’s 12-day expedition through the Grand Canyon while living with a progressive muscle-wasting disease.

This session will explore how ReelAbilities and films like Facing the Falls challenge perceptions, inspire change, and amplify the voices and lived experience of people with disabilities.
