Research by the NIH among others continues to underline that many persons on the autism spectrum exhibit talents in memory, visual‐spatial abilities, and calculation. In effect, they possess well-rounded and highly in-demand skills for the workplace. Zero Project Awardee models from Germany and Portugal have tapped into this model and have effectively hired and retained persons on the autism spectrum in a variety of industries such as IT and project management.
