MARGARITA
About
MARGARITA is an association based in Athens, Greece, that supports and trains individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders to become autonomous and active citizens within an inclusive society. Our core areas of work include Supported Employment, the promotion of the rights of neurodivergent individuals, and skill development for our beneficiaries.
Since 2023, we have been operating the Supported Employment department, which offers two fast-track training programs annually, focused on professional skills for people with neurodevelopmental disorders. We also provide training for employers to foster the inclusive integration of new employees.
Founded in 1979, MARGARITA serves more than 100 beneficiaries and their families each year. Our services cover diverse areas such as inclusive art, assistive technology, public participation, and environmental skills, all tailored to the preferences and talents of the individuals we support.
