Lebenshilfe Kärnten

The Lebenshilfe Kärnten is a non-profit and non-governmental organisation that provides services for people with (learning) disabilities. The aim is to assist people as much as necessary and as little as possible for them to live and work independently and self-determined.

Services include housing (residential homes, shared apartments, training homes, and single apartments), working environment (workshops and working in inclusive settings), and personal assistance for leisure activities, as well as personal assistance for young children.

The Lebenshilfe Kärnten stands up for the human rights of people with disabilities and, thus, has its own department for self-advocacy within the NGO.
