My organisation

Founded in 2014, Calle Libre is a festival for urban aesthetics that brings together today’s contemporary forms of graffiti and other forms of street art onto curated walls throughout the city. We are a young team of creatives from diverse backgrounds. What drives us is the common love for street art and the overarching goal to encourage a dialogue between the public and the artists through artistic interventions. We want cultural perspectives, personal opinions and artistic views to be expressed freely and proudly.

About me

Ricarda Lassy, MA, is an Austrian cultural professional with over a decade of experience in the arts and cultural sector. For the past nine years, she has been actively involved with Calle Libre, a Vienna-based organization dedicated to promoting public art. The annual Calle Libre Festival, which transforms large-scale facades in different Viennese districts, is a key highlight of her work.

Driven by her passion for urban art, she ventured into self-employment as an independent artist manager for over two years, collaborating with artists such as Manuel Skirl and Ruin. Now, she has co-founded a street art agency alongside the Calle Libre board, where she serves as managing director. The agency focuses on creative projects and commissioned artworks for both interior and exterior spaces.
