About me

Doug Golub is a recognized leader in healthcare technology and human services, dedicated to improving outcomes for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and other underserved populations. In 2003, while working as a direct support professional, he co-founded a software company that advanced electronic records, data management, and care coordination for providers, payers, and oversight agencies. His work helped organizations streamline operations, enhance compliance, and support whole-person health outcomes through innovative digital solutions. The company grew into a trusted industry leader and was later acquired in 2022, allowing Doug to focus on broader consulting and advisory work.

Today, Doug leads Data Potato LLC (www.datapotato.com), a consulting firm that helps nonprofits, healthcare organizations, and human services providers leverage data, AI, and emerging technologies to improve service delivery and operational efficiency. His work focuses on ethical AI adoption, regulatory compliance, and creating scalable digital strategies that enhance person-centered care.

Doug is currently pursuing advanced studies in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, focusing on population health, healthcare leadership, and policy innovation, specifically for underserved and complex populations. Doug also serves on several boards, including as Treasurer of the ANCOR Foundation. His expertise lies at the intersection of technology and public health, ensuring that digital transformation efforts prioritize equity, compliance, and whole person outcomes.
