About me

Founder of Fundación Alex Rivera, pioneer in innovation for adults with Down Syndrome.

Previously, 20+ years in the Automotive industry in America, Europe, Africa and Asia, as an entrepreneur, executive, consultant and engineer.

In 2016, Carlos co-founded Clicars.com, named by the press as "the Amazon of cars in Spain", building a €500M profitable business with just 5M€ capital raised. Clicars' outstanding team of 600+ disrupted used-car industry through digitalization and trust. Clicars was sold to Stellantis (through AramisGroup) in 2022.

Before Clicars, Carlos was Global Head of Strategy at Philips Automotive, Project Leader in the Paris office of The Boston Consulting Group, specializing in Industrial Goods (mostly Automotive sector) and Financial Services, and Engine Tuning Engineer at Renault. He also worked at Mercedes-Benz USA (Customer Service department), and at the Spanish Council for Scientific Research (Electric/Hybrid/Fuel Cell vehicles).

Carlos earned an MBA from Columbia Business School with Beta Gamma Sigma honors and graduated among Top 5% students in Industrial Engineering at Polytechnic University of Madrid; He is an IRONMAN Finisher and marathoneer
