My organisation

Established in 2014, CareER is the first charity in Hong Kong to provide holistic career support to tertiary-educated students and graduates with disabilities and special educational needs (SEN), ensuring a smooth transition from campus to the workplace. Standing for Care in Education and Recruitment, CareER provides charitable job-matching services for employers and candidates with disability/SEN, while acting as a peer-support community and alumni union to serve tertiary-educated talents with any type of disabilities. Through promoting inclusive employment and encouraging disability inclusion at the workplace, CareER aims to maximize the capabilities of tertiary-educated students and graduates with disabilities/SEN, and enable them to become independent and contributing members of society. CareER was awarded the HKCSS Most Impactful Small and Medium-sized non-subvented NGOs Award in 2019, and the Zero Project – Innovative Practices in Employment from Civil Society in 2021.
