My organisation

The FKDB covered area of Boyolali, Central Java, Indonesia. We focused on advocating for the rights and improving the welfare of persons with disabilities. FKDB initiated the Kresna Patra programme, a collaboration between FKDB, the local government, and the business sector, particularly the garment industry, to create inclusive employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

About me

Ida Putri is a disability activist, and Deputy Chairperson for Forum Komunikasi Difabel Boyolali (FKDB). She is also co-founder of Kresna Patra, a collaboration project in her hometown to open access for inclusive employment. She is also Disability inclusion adviser, she has been advising various development program including Disability registry, study the utilization of National Health Insurance (BPJS Kesehatan) and inclusive public services.

Ida obtained her Master in Global Politics from Ateneo De Manila University, Philippines through Nippon Foundation scholarship program. She is 2023 fellow of The Advisory Capacity Development and Exchange (ACE) in Southeast Asia held by CBM Global Disability Inclusion and International Disability Alliance (IDA). She also active to promote Disability-inclusion through writing in media such as Disability Debrief.
