About me
Award-winning researcher/Research & Development (R&D&I) executive. I coordinate the Data & Knowledge Department at Làbora, the Barcelona City Council’s public-social labor Market inclusión program. Each year, we serve 6,000 people at risk of social and economic exclusion to contribute to their employability. This work contributes to around 1,500 hiring processes annually, supporting individuals facing barriers in the open labor market, including people with disabilities.
In addition, I’m a leadership coach and mentor, and a DEIA consultant, as well as a political advocate, with a history of over 11 years working in a wide diversity of sectors and capacities, in 7 different countries.
In 2019, I ran for mayor in my hometown of Castellar del Vallès, Catalonia, becoming a city councillor and later a regional councillor in the process. After almost getting elected as an MP at the Spanish Congress, I later started my PhD focusing my energies on leadership development, organizational transformation and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA).
I received a BA degree in Political Sciences and International Relations from University College Utrecht (The Netherlands), an MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy from LSE and, later, a Master’s degree in Emotional Intelligence, Leadership Development and Coaching from EAE Business School.
I have a visual disability that I have had from birth. Nowadays, I’m also leading a political initiative to get people with disabilities involved in institutional politics in Catalonia.
