Keystone Moldova is a non-profit, nongovernmental organization working to create opportunities where people can grow, exercise self-determination, and be participating, contributing and valued members of their society.  The mission of Keystone Moldova is to promote and develop opportunities that will be in the form of consultant services, technical assistance, direct support service, best-practice training, monetary and administrative supports for ensuring the quality of life of individuals living in difficult  social situations,  including persons with disabilities, children with special education needs, abused children and women, families living in poverty, discriminated groups of population.

About me

Ludmila Malcoci, professor researcher, PHD habilitate in sociology, Keystone Human Services International Regional Director for Eastern and Central Europe, Keystone Moldova Executive Director. Under her outstanding leadership for more than 16 years, Keystone Moldova become one of the main promoteurs of social inclusion of persons with disabilities and mental health in Moldova and in the region. Mrs Malcoci is a high qualified specialist with more than 20 years of international development expertise in various countries, including Moldova, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, Belorussia and Kazakhstan. She worked for different international organisations, like World Bank, USAID, UNICEF, UNDP, Soros foundation, EU etc. In various fields related to community development, social inclusion, inclusive education, gender mainstreaming and public health. Prof. Malcoci has more than 30 years of sociological reasearch, resulting in 81 publications , as well as expertise in teaching and guiding doctoral students in sociology.
