For individuals with disabilities, it is common to be unemployed, have untapped talents, and rarely participate in social activities. But is this really considered normal? I am currently serving as a consultant specializing in education and employment for individuals with intellectual disabilities in the Netherlands. In addition, I conduct internal impact assessments at HandicapNL and am responsible for integrating up-to-date scientific knowledge and insights into the organization's practices.
