Vocational training for jobseekers with intellectual disabilities rolled out countrywide
About
Chance B, a leading service provider in the Austrian state of Styria, created the KomKom programme, a qualification initiative for educationally disadvantaged individuals. Modelled after Austria’s dual education and certification system for apprenticeships, it provides curricula, training, and validation methods. Since 2019 it has expanded nationwide with partners, involving 270 young people. In 2021 the KomKom network was launched to further support its Austria-wide rollout.
